Medieval tavern logo design
It's warm July of 2020 when a bard and old friend and of mine told me the news about settling up a new tavern in the city of Brno (CZ) and wanted me to create for him the basics of his "new baby".
Sadly after the COVID situation came, the development of the brand stopped. But now, after the outbreak, we are working on the Stregobor again!
As you can see, the logo was hand-made and drawn by pen, to make the logo more personal and folkish. The old man with the hat symbolizes the calm and warm environment, with a fair and honorable attitude. The raven comes as the symbol of Odin, the old Norse all-father. Finally, the pipe is for the shisha community, which is visiting the tavern very often for a great pipe and cold beer.
